Colombia-Venezuela Border

In the area where we’re working, access to basic necessities including food and medical care can be a matter of life and death. Our partnership with local organizations on the border has enabled us to provide aid to those in need, but the situation remains dire.

One of the biggest challenges faced by the community is the lack of affordable housing. Families are forced to build makeshift shelters by the river due to the high cost of basic shelter.

Despite challenges, the community has shown incredible resilience, with the local church serving as a beacon of hope. They have established a safe school for children and launched a Sewing Project that provides jobs for women who have escaped human trafficking.

At the heart of our work is the belief in empowering people to become self-sufficient financially. We have been working alongside the community to help them build micro-businesses such as the Sewing Project to achieve this goal. We have seen the transformative power of community and determination in action.

Our mission is to continue to support and empower those in need, regardless of their background or circumstances. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
