Our Story

Jason & Sarah’s passion for helping others led them to embark on a one-year volunteer position in Latin America. What they didn't know at the time was that this was just the beginning of a lifelong adventure. For more than 16 years, they have dedicated their lives to serving the underprivileged, marginalized, and rejected in communities all around the world.

Growing up in a family where serving others was the norm, Sarah's love for walking alongside those experiencing the hard knocks of life came naturally. Jason, on the other hand, was always drawn to new cultures and languages and had a heart for helping people. Together, they make an unstoppable team, with a shared vision of blessing and serving the underdog.

Their passion for serving the underprivileged and rejected led to the birth of the Nikao Foundation, which is the culmination of years of work in communities around the world. Their journey has been full of adventure, challenges, and unforgettable experiences, but their unwavering commitment to serving others has remained at the heart of it all.

Through their work, they have seen the transformative power of hope, faith, and community in action. They have witnessed firsthand the impact that can be made when people come together with a shared goal of making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
